These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Nordic Theory Labs AB ("we", "us", "studio"), a Swedish limited company with Stockholm, Sweden — organisation details available on request.

They govern your use of:

• The nordictheorylabs.com website and any subdomains.
• The Körkort Hero iOS application and any future apps we publish.
• Any future products explicitly linked to these Terms.

If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian agrees on your behalf.

The studio designs and operates educational and productivity software. Our flagship product, Körkort Hero, is a study aid for the Swedish theory driving test (Trafikverkets kunskapsprov). It is not a substitute for the official Transportstyrelsen materials, nor for time spent with a licensed instructor.

Availability

We aim for high availability but provide the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Maintenance windows, third-party outages, or unforeseen events may interrupt the service. We will publish status updates at status.nordictheorylabs.com where practical.

Beta features

Features marked "beta", "lab", or "experimental" are provided for testing and may change or be removed without notice. They are excluded from any uptime expectation.

We do not operate our own user accounts. Subscriptions, sync, and family sharing are handled by Apple through your Apple ID. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your Apple ID and device secure.
• The activity that happens under your Apple ID.
• Configuring Family Sharing and "Ask to Buy" if children use your device.

If you suspect your Apple ID has been compromised, contact Apple Support directly. We have no ability to recover, reset, or transfer Apple-managed subscriptions.

Violating these rules may result in suspension of access without refund and, where appropriate, referral to authorities. We will tell you what we found and give you a chance to respond, unless doing so would compromise an investigation.

What the subscription unlocks

A Körkort Hero subscription unlocks the full question bank, all 6 study modes, all 12 interface languages, and unlimited mock-exam attempts. A free tier covers a sample of the content so you can decide before subscribing.

Current pricing

Prices are displayed in your local App Store currency and may change. The most up-to-date prices always live on the App Store listing. The app currently offers a recurring subscription with a free trial; lifetime access may be available depending on region.

Auto-renewal

Recurring subscriptions auto-renew through Apple at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can cancel at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple. To request a refund, follow Apple's process at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not have authority to issue refunds for App Store transactions, but we will support reasonable requests when contacted by Apple.

Lifetime — what it means

"Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the Körkort Hero product, not the user's natural lifetime. If we ever discontinue the product, we will give existing lifetime subscribers at least 12 months' notice.

All software, text, design, illustrations, logos, the Signal mark, and the Körkort Hero name are owned by Nordic Theory Labs AB or licensed to us. They are protected by Swedish and international copyright and trademark law.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

Content you create inside the apps — notes, bookmarks, study tags — remains yours. It is stored on your device and we claim no ownership of it.

If you believe content on our service infringes your IP, write to support@nordictheorylabs.com with the details set out in Article 17 of the EU Digital Services Act.

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement.

Without limiting the generality of the above:

• We are not affiliated with Transportstyrelsen, Trafikverket, or the Swedish state.
• Question content is written to mirror the official curriculum but may differ in wording, emphasis, or scope.
• Practical driving — vehicle control, road behaviour — is not taught by the app and requires a licensed instructor.
• Your statutory rights as a consumer under Swedish law (Konsumentköplagen) are not affected by this clause.

You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the app and discontinuing use of the website. Cancelling your subscription is handled in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

We may suspend or end the agreement if you materially breach these Terms, if continued provision would be unlawful, or if we discontinue the service. Unless prevented by law, we'll give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy any breach.

Sections about Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

Disputes will be brought before Stockholms tingsrätt as the court of first instance. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you retain the mandatory protections of your home country's consumer law and may bring a claim in your local courts where the law allows.

EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Before formal proceedings, we'd rather talk — write to support@nordictheorylabs.com and we will reply within 14 days.
